Job summary

Veit is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and secure projects, then lead the contract work from start to finish. You will coordinate scheduling, cost control, safety, client communication, and invoicing with the team, while guiding Estimator I/II and Project Managers.

A Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects are required. Travel may be involved as projects span multiple sites; base compensation includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects.
• Strong communication across management, vendors, and clients.
• Experience with bidding and project management software; MS Office.
• Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Seek bid opportunities via client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large, complex work and coordinate bids.
• Provide overall project direction from start to finish with field and office teams.
• Manage costs, billing, and coordination with project staff.
