Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Manager II to independently lead capital projects through all phases in a hybrid role based near Debary, FL. You will own scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project execution.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop PM plans for large residential developments and infrastructure, monitor progress, report to leadership, and support audits and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, PM, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing projects valued over $10M.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project management plans for projects related to large residential developments, new infrastructure, and pipeline relocation.
• Lead project teams and coordinate activities across multiple functional groups.
• Establish and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and performance objectives.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Lead change management and project governance processes.
• Prepare project forecasts and executive reporting packages.
• Coordinate contractor, consultant, and vendor activities.
• Monitor project compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support project audits, reviews, and stage-gate approvals
