Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a Project Manager III - Distribution to lead complex capital projects near Debary, FL. You will guide planning, execution, and delivery, manage budgets and schedules, drive risk mitigation, and mentor junior PMs.

This hybrid role requires a bachelor’s in a related field, 5–8 years of PM experience, PMP preferred, and a valid driver's license. You’ll interact with executives and oversee contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience leading projects valued in excess of $10M.
• Utility, transmission, LNG, pipeline, infrastructure, or major capital project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital projects for large residential developments, new infrastructure, and pipeline relocation.
• Establish project execution strategies and delivery plans.
• Manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Lead risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Direct change management and issue resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and oversee contractor performance.
• Facilitate executive reviews and governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
