Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Manager III to lead the delivery of large-scale capital projects from planning through execution. The role guides cross-functional teams, manages budgets and schedules, and ensures regulatory and contractual compliance while balancing risk and stakeholder needs.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of PM experience, a PMP or equivalent certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience leading projects valued in excess of $10M.
• 5-8 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex capital projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing project risk, cost, and schedule performance.
• Utility, transmission, LNG, pipeline, infrastructure, or major capital project experience.
• Portfolio management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital projects related to large residential developments, new infrastructure, and pipeline relocation.
• Establish project execution strategies and project delivery plans.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Lead project risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Direct change management and issue resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance.
• Facilitate executive-level project reviews and governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Identify project improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators.
• Support portfolio planning and project prioritization activities.
