Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Manager II to independently manage capital projects through all lifecycle phases. The role oversees scope, schedule, budget, risk, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting.

You will lead project teams, provide decision support, and ensure successful execution with governance and audits. A commutable hybrid setup to Debary, FL, West Palm Beach, Yulee, or Winter Haven applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• PM experience with projects over $10M preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with project risk management methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Industrial/utility or construction background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project management plans for regulator stations, HDD, and land rights.
• Lead project teams and coordinate activities across functions.
• Set and manage scope, schedule, budget, and objectives.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Manage risks, opportunities, and mitigations.
• Facilitate meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Lead governance and change management.
• Prepare forecasts and executive reporting packages.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
