Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a Project Manager III to lead delivery of complex, high-value capital projects. You will provide leadership across all project phases and be accountable for project performance related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The incumbent provides strategic direction to project teams and supports executive decision-making through comprehensive project analysis and performance reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience leading projects valued in excess of $10M.
• 5-8 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex capital projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing project risk, cost, and schedule performance.
• Utility, transmission, LNG, pipeline, infrastructure, or major capital project experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital projects in regulator stations, Horizontal directional drilling, and land rights.
• Establish project execution strategies and project delivery plans.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Lead project risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Direct change management and issue resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance.
• Facilitate executive-level project reviews and governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Identify project improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators.
• Support portfolio planning and project prioritization activities.
