Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Manager III to lead the delivery of complex capital projects in the distribution business. The role provides strategic direction, oversees scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction, and delivers executive-level reporting and governance.

The hybrid role is based near Debary, FL. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, 5–8 years of PM experience, PMP preferred, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience leading projects valued in excess of $10M.
• 5–8 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex capital projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital projects related to large residential developments, new infrastructure, and pipeline relocation.
• Establish project execution strategies and project delivery plans.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Lead project risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Direct change management and issue resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance.
• Facilitate executive-level project reviews and governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Identify project improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators.
• Support portfolio planning and project prioritization activities.
