Clune Construction Company, L.P. in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction from budgeting to closeout. You will lead project teams, manage client relations, and drive financial performance across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and development of junior staff, with a focus on delivering excellence and maintaining strong industry partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CM/Arch/Engineering preferred; strong work experience considered.
• 9+ years of construction project management experience; or degree with 5+ years; or masters with 3+ years.
• 2-3 years of experience specifically in commercial construction.
• Experience managing all aspects of field operations including scheduling, quality control, and coordinating sub-contractors.
• Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
• Proficiency with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to RFPs, including developing presentations and pitches.
• Lead preconstruction from budgeting through final budget approval.
• Manage contract reviews with owners and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance, direction and leadership to project team.
• Oversee project cost control and budget management.
• Develop Project Managers and Assistants on the team.
• Lead business development and client relationship management.
• Support mentoring programs and intern initiatives.
