Clune Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee field operations, scheduling and safety for complex projects in the Washington area. The role works with the Project Manager to execute the project plan from pre-construction through closeout and contributes to the firm’s growth.

Responsibilities include leading pre-construction planning, developing detailed schedules, coordinating with architects/engineers, supervising field teams, and driving a culture of zero incidents on site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Experience managing all aspects of field operations including scheduling, quality control and coordinating sub-contractors.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with high-end clientele.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction scheduling, logistics and planning with PM.
• Create robust project schedules and weekly look-aheads.
• Oversee budgeting with PM team and ensure cost controls.
• Coordinate field team, trade partners and owner vendors.
• Maintain safety culture and OSHA standards on site.
• Mentor and develop field personnel and interns.
• Represent the firm in client interviews and mentoring programs.
