Job summary

Rosendin Electric in Sterling, VA is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex electrical construction projects, directing overall scope, schedule, and financial outcomes.

The role requires advanced PM expertise, mentoring for junior PMs, and strong client/A/E coordination to keep projects on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• PE license a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Project Assistants and junior PMs as an individual contributor.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders.
• Liaise with primary client and A/E to coordinate construction activities.
• Support construction activities with Sr. PM to meet schedule and budget.
• Anticipate and prevent serious situations and implement corrective actions.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly costing reports and manage contract finances.
• Develop new business opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned within the business unit.
