Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within the Power Delivery Solutions division. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage projects for a major electric utility client, with emphasis on siting, land acquisition, and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee schedules, budgets and risks, provide governance and reporting, and support funding requests.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in electric utility industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central coordination point across Real Estate, Survey, Engineering, Siting, Environmental, Permitting, Public Engagement, Legal, Project Controls, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate land acquisition activities for substation sites, easements and ROW.
• Track acquisition milestones, surveys, title work, enviro considerations, permitting dependencies and closing milestones.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, issue resolution, stakeholder communication and reporting.
• Support and maintain project schedules and milestones with Project Controls and Primavera P6.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risks and acquisition progress to support in-service dates.
• Coordinate environmental, permitting, compliance and governance requirements.
• Support funding requests, forecasting, risk assessments, changes and reporting.
• Maintain project docs and ensure Site & Acquire deliverables before turnover to construction teams.
• Occasional site visits and documentation of project/site information.
