Mark Thomas is hiring a Project Manager II to lead project teams through proactive communication and coordination with clients, internal staff, and sub-consultants to maintain alignment on project objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial management, client relations, and successful project execution, with hybrid and primarily remote work options. 10–12+ years in civil engineering and a CA PE license are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering required.
• CA PE license required or ability to obtain CA licensure within one year.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management, budgeting, scheduling and deliverables.
• Strong leadership, communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads project teams to successful completion of quality deliverables.
• Manages project quality, budget, schedule and profitability.
• Leads proposal development and project interview efforts.
• Participates in pursuit strategies and business development.
• Communicates effectively with internal teams, clients, and sub-consultants.
• Develops, leads and mentors staff to support team and project success.
• Contributes to repeat client opportunities.
