Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager III to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital projects in energy infrastructure across Florida. This hybrid role requires relocation proximity to Debary, Winter Haven, Yulee, or West Palm Beach and offers leadership across all project phases, with accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects valued over $10M.
• 5–8 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex capital projects.
• Portfolio management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital projects in regulator stations, HDD, and land rights.
• Establish project execution strategies and delivery plans.
• Manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Lead project risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Direct change management and issue resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance.
• Facilitate executive-level project reviews and governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Identify project improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.
• Support portfolio planning and prioritization activities.
