Job summary

Divcon in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex building automation projects across multiple sites, driving strategy, coordination, and stakeholder engagement from planning to delivery.

You will partner with clients, engineers, and senior leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget results that meet top technical standards, with travel up to 85% and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction project or program management, ideally in BAS or MEP environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-value, multi-phase projects.
• Deep knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical/commissioning systems.
• Strong business acumen with experience in financial oversight, reporting, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—from technicians to C-suite.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years is required.
• If certification is not current or has not been completed, OSHA 30 training provided and must be completed within the first week.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution across multiple BAS construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Direct and mentor project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Own project portfolio performance — scope, budget, schedule, and quality — and deliver monthly reporting to executives.
• Oversee all contract documentation, change orders, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with clients to build trust, manage expectations, and serve as primary point of escalation.
• Evaluate and approve engineering designs, submittals, and BoMs for compliance and efficiency.
• Mitigate risk through proactive planning, forecasting, and issue resolution.
• Standardize best practices across projects to drive efficiency and quality in delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Divcon's internal systems (e.g., DivPro), safety standards, and project documentation protocols.
