Job summary

Divcon Controls, headquartered in Dallas, TX, seeks a Construction Senior Project Manager to lead complex BAS building automation projects across multiple sites. You will drive strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and engage with clients and senior leadership to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery with high technical standards.

The role requires deep construction management expertise in BAS/HVAC, strong financial oversight, and excellent stakeholder management from technicians to C-suite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in construction project or program management, ideally in BAS or MEP environments.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams on high-value, multi-phase projects.
• Deep knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical/commissioning systems.
• Strong business acumen with experience in financial oversight, reporting, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—from technicians to C-suite.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and financial tools.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years; if not current, OSHA 30 training will be provided and must be completed within the first week.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution across BAS construction projects across multiple sites.
• Direct and mentor project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Own project portfolio performance—scope, budget, schedule, and quality—with monthly reporting to executives.
• Oversee contract documentation, change orders, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with clients to build trust and manage expectations; serve as primary escalation point.
• Evaluate engineering designs, submittals, and BoMs for compliance and efficiency.
• Mitigate risk through proactive planning and issue resolution.
• Standardize best practices across projects to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal systems, safety standards, and documentation protocols.
