Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large project team or multiple projects in Washington, ensuring staffing, performance, and a single point of contact for the client.

You will provide project status updates, manage budgets, develop strategies, mentor staff, and pursue opportunities to increase revenue while coordinating with internal departments to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience.
• Minimum 12 years experience, including minimum 5 years people management experience.
• Mastery knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as all design engineering aspects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of employees, clients and general contractors.
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven ability to lead a large team
• Strong public speaking ability
• Strong computer skills, including CAD, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage a large project team or multiple project teams, staffing and performance appraisals.
• Provide project status updates to client and leadership.
• Maintain solid client relationships and source opportunities for revenue.
• Develop and implement strategies for projects.
• Manage budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders for project.
• Participate in project meetings with internal departments.
• Delegate work and mentor project team, providing coaching and feedback.
