Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Manager of Projects (MOP) for Data Centers and Private Developers in the United States. You will lead a portfolio of high-visibility energy projects, guiding project managers and multidisciplinary teams from concept through commissioning to meet safety, cost, schedule, and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience managing projects in the energy sector, transmission and distribution, industrial facilities, advanced facilities, or data centers.
• Demonstrated experience leading Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with project financial management, forecasting, risk management, change management, and client relationship management.
• Experience supporting data center developers, utilities, independent power producers, infrastructure investors, or other private-sector clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong HSE culture and ensure that project teams comply with Jacobs and client requirements.
• Coach and support the professional development of Project Managers within the portfolio.
• Coordinate with Advanced Facilities, Operations, and regional delivery teams to understand priorities and maintain strong client relationships.
• Lead coordination across a portfolio of data center projects, ensuring consistent delivery and effective risk management.
• Partner with Sales and the broader account team to maintain the data center pipeline and support proposal development.
