Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power team and seeking a Manager of Projects (MOP) for Data Centers and Private Developers. You will lead a portfolio of high‑impact energy infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning, coordinating with Global Integrated Delivery and regional teams to deliver safe, on‑budget, and technically sound solutions.

You will coach Project Managers, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategic account growth while ensuring quality and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience managing projects in energy, transmission and distribution, industrial facilities, or data centers.
• Demonstrated experience leading Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with project financial management, forecasting, risk management, change management, and client relationship management.
• Experience supporting data center developers, utilities, independent power producers, or similar clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of data center projects, ensuring delivery, risk management, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with AF, PMs, sales, GID, and regional teams to align priorities and execution.
• Develop proposals, pricing, schedules, and risk reserves with the account team.
• Communicate delivery strategy and team experience for data center pursuits.
• Provide guidance on project controls, budgets, and schedules to ensure scope compliance.
• Engage legal, contracts, and compliance in review and approvals.
