Job summary

Bunnell Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking an experienced Project Geologist to join the Hydrogeology Group within our Regional Geotechnical Services team. This role suits an early to mid-career professional (5–15 years) capable of managing technical projects, budgets, and clients, with potential progression to Senior Geologist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Hydrogeology required.
• 5–15 years of experience in environmental consulting or related geology work.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, subsurface geology, hydrogeology, and soil/rock mechanics.
• Experience with field investigation techniques (drilling, sampling, logging).
• Professional Geologist (PG) licensure or ability to obtain licensure in timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation of analytical data for hydrogeologic investigations and remediation projects.
• Lead geologic investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling and field data collection.
• Interpret environmental data to reach project objectives and assess risks.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and client/regulator presentations.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee field operations ensuring safety and quality.
