Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, environmental and civil projects. You will drive planning, execution and closure, coordinate with clients, and ensure high-quality deliverables across municipal, industrial, residential and commercial sectors.

The role requires hands-on project engineering, leadership, and a track record of managing complex assignments through completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or ability to reciprocity where firm operates.
5–12 years in geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing; 3+ years in supervision/mgmt.
Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction requirements.
Knowledge of geosynthetics.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling and data collection.
Mentor junior engineers, designers and field staff; delegate tasks and oversee project teams.
Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project updates clearly.
Develop and review engineering designs, calculations, and reports for compliance and quality.
Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and project schedules.
