Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a senior Project Engineering Leader to provide technical direction on complex multi‑discipline projects and to support the Project Manager in achieving cost, schedule, and client satisfaction. The role is performed with minimal supervision and requires strong collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Engineering, PE and/or PMP, and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration and/or PMP registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering and project management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple disciplines.
• Knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling and change management.

Responsibilities

• Inform the Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems encountered on the project.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Controls Lead on execution issues.
• Support PM in managing budgets, schedules, and scope changes; produce weekly/monthly status reports.
• Ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables and lead inter-discipline coordination.
• Oversee development of project-specific engineering procedures and engineering input for scope documents.
