Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support a major transportation and mass transit infrastructure project in the Los Angeles area.

You will work with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and leadership, focusing on project controls, cost tracking, contract administration, quality control, documentation, and closeout. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in large-scale infrastructure, rail/transit or electrical projects, and a strong grasp of contracts, plans, specs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• Experience on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specs, and docs.
• Experience with cost tracking, change management, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Superintendent in execution of large-scale transportation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and requirements.
• Track and process change orders, owner payments, and claims.
• Assist with cost forecasting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with field operations to verify quantities and work completed.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings revisions, and documentation.
