Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• Experience on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specs, and project documentation.
• Experience with cost tracking, change management, and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze labor costs, quantities, production, and project performance.
• Strong project controls and contract administration knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with detailed documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, owners, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the execution of large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, and project requirements.
• Track, prepare, review, and process: change proposals, change orders, potential change orders, owner pay applications, and claims documentation.
• Identify changes in project scope and develop supporting documentation for additional compensation and/or schedule impacts.
• Monitor project costs and maintain accurate cost and production reports.
• Assist with cost forecasting and financial reporting.
• Analyze labor costs, quantities, production, and project performance.
• Coordinate with field operations to verify installed quantities and completed work.
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination, material tracking, and documentation.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and other technical documentation.
• Research and coordinate solutions with project leadership for technical and quality control issues.
• Verify compliance with plans, specs, codes, standards, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, owners, and stakeholders.
• Support scheduling, progress tracking, and short-term planning.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure current documentation.
• Manage closeout requirements and track punch lists, as-built docs, warranties, testing records.
