Job summary

Legence is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in coordinating project delivery, documentation, cost control, scheduling, QA/QC, and safety. You will help deliver value-added projects safely, on time, and within budget while building strong customer relationships.

Based in an on-site capacity, you will develop independence, assist with weekly reports, take-offs in the design phase, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of construction or project experience.
• Proven ability to work independently for periods of time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent with budget and schedule tracking.
• Document meetings and assist with on-site problem solving to keep the project on schedule.
• Assist with QA/QC checks, specification reviews, and change orders.
• Help develop weekly reports and closeout documentation including as-builts.
• Develop professional relationships with contractors and coordinate with internal teams.
