Job summary

Legence is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in coordinating project delivery, documentation, cost control, scheduling, quality, safety, and closeout activities.

The role develops increasing independence and leadership to advance into a Project Manager or Site Superintendent, working with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver value-added projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant construction or project experience.
• Ability to work independently for periods of time.
• Manage time, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
• Maintain integrity and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in monitoring budget and schedule, identifying variances and impacts.
• Assist Project Manager with meetings and documentation.
• Assist Superintendent with on-site problem solving to maintain schedule.
• Assist with budget tracking and change orders.
• Assist QA/QC checks and schedule reviews.
• Prepare weekly reports and logs; contribute to closeout documentation.
