Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage small projects or components of larger projects on-site. You will apply JE Dunn processes for project management, administration and field execution, aligning with the company’s strategy, vision and values.

You will lead safety and quality efforts, coordinate with QA/QC and participate in estimating, change management and procurement, while mentoring team members and driving Lean practices across the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Coordinates with QA/QC planning for quality of tasks.
• Participates in estimating and change management, including quantity take-off.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Organizes and participates in project meetings; disseminates documentation.
• Develops and maintains project reports and schedules to support the project.
• Leads submittal process and ensures alignment with schedule.
• Provides training and mentorship to others.
