Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. in Cherokee, AL is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on complex projects and assist the Project Manager with cost, schedule, and client satisfaction across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and preferably PE or PMP certification, with strong communication, leadership, and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering and/or PMP registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inform the Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems on the project.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues and with PM team on execution.
• Assist in managing engineering budgets and schedules; help document changes in scope.
• Prepare weekly/monthly engineering status reports and resource forecasts.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination to ensure design consistency and timely deliverables.
• Review 3D models and deliverables for quality and risk mitigation.
