Job summary

AES Corporation seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead design and engineering of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects in development and construction phases. You will coordinate across engineering disciplines, perform performance modeling, and prepare technical documents for EPC, RFPs, and due diligence.

• 5+ years of professional experience in solar PV design, development, construction, and analysis.
• Proficiency in PV system design with NEC design requirements and equipment sizing.
• Experience with medium voltage collector design and electrical/or civil/mechanical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support full project lifecycle design development and peer reviews.
• Prepare procurement specs, EPC pricing inputs, and RFP responses.
• Provide technical due diligence for M&A projects and support project execution.
