Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Senior Project Engineer for our San Diego, CA office. You will support the Project Manager and Superintendent, organizing and tracking activities to ensure schedule adherence and contract compliance.

Expect to lead subcontractor coordination, review designs, manage RFIs/ submittals, and apply value engineering in a high-profile construction environment. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in construction management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in construction management or related area.
• Experience with large commercial projects (healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and design teams; document information reviewed.
• Inspect construction site daily; manage subcontractors to contract documents.
• Participate in job walks and report status, issues and concerns.
• Coordinate all submittals between subcontractors.
• Review designs and drawings for crafts installing materials and qualifications.
• Review Submittals and Shop Drawings for contract compliance.
• Manage RFIs, Change Orders, and project documentation processes.
