Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Menlo Park, CA office. The role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure contract compliance and on-time completion.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management and at least five years of field experience on large commercial projects, with strong MS Office, Procore, and Primavera P6

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the field or related area.
• Working knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment and overall engineering standards.
• Experience with large commercial projects healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, science & technology is desired.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and design teams.
• Inspect construction site daily and manage subcontractors per contract documents.
• Review designs, drawings, submittals, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Handle RFIs, PCOs, and change orders; document control and close-out processes.
• Train and manage project team in document control protocols and project close-out.
