Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead plant infrastructure projects and drive safety, reliability, and efficiency across multiple sites in the United States. You will manage capital initiatives, develop standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, effective solutions.

Responsibilities include project leadership, cost and efficiency improvements, and training for technical staff. Occasional travel to sites will be required as part of program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• Ability to conceptualize, design, lead and manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own projects at multiple sites from start to finish, with some exceeding $1MM.
• Present major projects to senior leadership and business groups.
• Plan and manage capital projects or support plant personnel as required.
• Establish guidelines for plant systems to ensure maintenance and safety standards.
• Report and implement corporate best practices across facilities.
• Lead training and communicate best practices to technical teams at site level.
• Identify and drive cost-reduction opportunities related to utilities and efficiency improvements.
