Talent Solutions Partners in Tampa, FL is hiring a Project Engineer with 5 to 8 years in civil construction to own engineering and project controls on heavy civil highway and bridge work across Florida. You’ll support the Project Manager and Superintendent from the Tampa office and coordinate multiple activities.

Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering and Management preferred), be proficient in Primavera P6, Excel and Word, and demonstrate strong verbal and

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years in civil construction, office and field.
• Experience managing multiple activities on heavy civil work.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management emphasis.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Review the contract and specifications in their entirety.
• Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent on day to day project needs.
• Prepare and update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Track quantities, project costs and forecasting.
• Get pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts.
• Support monthly billing, cash flow projections and change order processing.
• Run document control for submittals, contract documents and record drawings.
• Review HeavyJob daily reports for accuracy.
• Keep NPDES permits, the SWPPP, inspections, survey staking and joint measurements with the owner on track.
