Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as Project Engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in writing/reviewing subcontracts and purchase orders to ensure scope and contract amounts are correct.
• Review project documents and coordinate with Architect, Owner, authorities, Subcontractors and Suppliers for day-to-day operations.
• Assist in determining submittal requirements and maintaining the submittal log; expedite materials/equipment through delivery.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the overall project schedule and perform site visits to verify progress.
• Maintain daily records and preparation/submittal of weekly timesheets and payrolls as needed.
• Disseminate correspondence and directives between Owner, Architect, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to ensure timely action.
• Maintain project files and documentation for a clear project history.
• Track estimated vs actual costs and subcontractor/self-performed work for billing.
