Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Building & Construction team in Elmendorf, TX. You will lead projects involving windows, curtain walls, doors and other envelope components, delivering engineering analyses, reports and technical guidance to clients.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years of experience, and PE or EIT with PE licensure within 24 months. Travel up to 15% and potential remote options for qualified candidates are allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in building design and construction.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with FE exam completed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complex engineering projects involving building envelope and facade systems.
• Perform engineering analysis and develop technical solutions and deliverables.
• Provide guidance to project teams and supervise lower-level staff.
• Communicate with clients on codes, test results, and reporting matters.
• Travel up to 15% may be required.
