Job summary

Intertek in York, PA seeks a Senior Project Engineer to manage complex building envelope and façade projects, including windows, storefronts, curtain walls, and doors. You will guide teams, perform analyses, and deliver conformance reports.

With 5+ years in building design and a PE or EIT with PE plans, you will liaise with clients, interpret codes, and contribute to industry standards committees, possibly with remote options for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in building design and construction, building envelope systems, facade engineering, structural engineering, building products, or related field.
• PE license; OR EIT with FE exam completed and plan to obtain PE licensure within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage building product projects, lead project teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Research building codes, regulations, product standards, and quality control methods to assess conformity.
• Develop product test plans based on research findings.
• Communicate with clients on codes, test preparation, procedures, results, and audits.
• Perform engineering analysis of test results to assess product performance.
• Create reports substantiating conformance with codes and standards.
• Provide supervision to junior engineers and staff.
• Represent Intertek in industry associations and standards committees.
