Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Building & Construction in Elmendorf, TX. You will manage complex engineering projects, oversee building envelope systems, and provide technical guidance to project teams.

The role may require up to 15% travel and collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors. Ideal candidates hold a PE or EIT with FE plan and have experience with fenestration, curtain walls, and building-envelope systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical or similar) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in building design and construction, or related fields.
• PE license OR EIT certification with plan to obtain PE within 24 months.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, codes and standards; proficient in technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead building product projects from start to finish, including project management and team leadership.
• Research building codes, regulations, standards, and methods to ensure conformance.
• Develop product test plans and communicate results to clients.
• Perform engineering analysis of test results and document findings.
• Supervise junior engineers and technicians; provide guidance to project teams.
• Represent Intertek with industry associations and standards committees.
