Job summary

Intertek in York, PA, seeks a Senior Project Engineer for Building & Construction to lead complex projects involving building envelope systems, including windows, curtain walls and storefronts. You will perform engineering analyses, develop technical solutions, and guide project teams.

The role requires a Civil/Structural/Mechanical engineering degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and PE licensure or EIT with plan to obtain PE within 24 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical or similar) or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in building design and construction.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with plan to obtain PE within 24 months of hire.
Strong proficiency in interpreting drawings, codes, standards, and documentation.
Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead building product projects and project teams.
Research building codes, regulations, product standards, and testing methods to assess conformance.
Develop product test plans based on research findings.
Communicate with clients on codes, test preparation, procedures, and reporting matters.
Perform engineering analysis of test results and create comprehensive evaluation reports.
