McKinstry in Seattle is seeking a Project Director - Industrial Prime MEP to provide strategic leadership for large, complex projects from planning through completion. The role oversees project activities, controls finances, and coordinates with stakeholders to meet client expectations and financial objectives.

Candidates should have 10–12 years of PM experience in construction and a relevant engineering degree, with at least 5 years leading a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of project management experience in construction.
• 5 years of experience leading a team.
• Knowledge of codes, equipment selection procedures, and good design practices.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all project activities from initiation to closeout.
• Define project assignments and clarify responsibilities.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout project implementation.
• Ensure compliance with policies and coordinate with all departments.
• Mitigate and report project risk and manage change orders.
• Coordinate handoffs between internal teams and support preconstruction.
• Monitor financial performance and deliver timely forecasts.
