Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent electrical construction experience.
• Experience in financial/performance contracting required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and estimates required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares quantitative estimates using McKinstry estimating platforms.
• Manages conceptual and quantitative estimating processes.
• Drives technology initiatives into processes for the group.
• Manages standard operating procedures and Project Life Cycle requirements for both cost and operational preconstruction tasks.
• Coordinates with Business Unit Managers, Project Executives and Project Managers to ensure successful set up and execution of projects.
• Manages the internal pre-construction processes.
• Train team members on cost and estimating methods and platforms.
• Coach and develop pre-construction team members.
• Selects, develops, and manages employees.
• Integrates the preconstruction team cohesively into the culture of each Electrical Business Unit.
