McKinstry is seeking a Project Director – Industrial Prime MEP to lead large, complex projects from planning through completion. You’ll oversee budgets, schedule, and cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations and financial objectives.

Ideal candidates have 10–12 years in construction PM, 5 years of team leadership, and strong knowledge of codes, estimating, and construction means. This role is based in Seattle with a focus on Prime MEP delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of project management experience in construction.
• 5 years leading a team.
• Knowledge of codes, equipment selection procedures, and good design practices.
• Knowledge of construction financial programs and software.
• Advanced estimating skills preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all project activities from initiation to closeout.
• Define project assignments and ensure clarity of responsibilities.
• Serve as primary contact with the customer during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Exercise cross‑functional decision making across departments.
• Provide timely information to stakeholders to facilitate decisions.
• Define and document customer agreements for project requirements.
• Coordinate handoffs between internal departments and support preconstruction.
• Mitigate and report project risk on behalf of the company.
• Manage project controls including financial reporting and subcontracting.
