Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Seattle to lead complex construction projects from inception through closeout. You will guide project teams, manage scope, schedule and budgets, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure exceptional delivery.

The role requires a decade of PM experience in construction, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership with cross-functional collaboration. Competitive benefits and a path to continued growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager responsibilities demonstrated in construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ten years of project management experience in construction.
• Five years managing a team.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient with scheduling software: MS Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak.
• CPM designation preferred; SharePoint knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of codes and construction financial software.
• Basic estimating skills preferred.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all project activities, functions and resources.
• Defines project assignments for team members.
• Acts as primary customer contact during project implementation.
• Maintains financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Responds to stakeholders with timely information to aid decision-making.
• Coordinates cross-functionally with PM, sales, estimating, accounting, and purchasing.
