Job summary

Hargrove seeks a Project Controls Specialist II to plan and schedule heavy industrial projects, monitor costs, and help estimate activities. The role requires coordinating with engineering teams and working from our Angleton office with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and PMI/AACE certification is preferred. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Timberline Estimating is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• AACE International or PMI certification preferred.
• Extremely detail oriented with ability to coordinate multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities.
• Monitor and update schedules via meetings, field verification, and coordination interviews.
• Understand Earned Value and Project Productivity concepts.
• Maintain change notice/change order management system and cost reports.
• Assist in change notice hearings and contracting strategy discussions.
• Develop construction cost estimates and project schedules for small/large areas.
