Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Angleton, TX is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to plan and schedule heavy industrial projects, monitor costs, and support estimating efforts. You will develop schedules for contract packages, track progress, and ensure safety and schedule alignment.

You will update schedules through meetings, field verifications, manage change notices, facilitate hearings, and contribute to cost reporting by reconciling commitments and invoices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues.
• Monitor and update schedules by obtaining updates through meetings, coordination interviews and field verification.
• Maintain the change notice/change order management system and assist in hearings and meetings.
• Develop estimates for construction projects including change notices.
• Maintain the cost system by reconciling commitments, change orders, invoices and producing cost reports.
