Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. seeks a Senior Project Controls Specialist to plan, schedule, and monitor costs for heavy industrial projects in Mt. Vernon, IN. You will develop schedules, manage changes, and prepare cost estimates under limited supervision.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating, with strong communication and coordination skills and proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Timberline Estimating.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of company standards and good practices.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Understanding of engineering disciplines and deliverables.
• Ability to discuss schedules, scopes, estimates with engineers/contractors.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop construction cost estimates and schedules for projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analyses for contract packages to forecast construction activities.
• Monitor and update schedules via meetings and field verification.
• Manage change notices and hearings with change committee.
• Develop estimates for construction projects, including change notices.
• Maintain cost system, reconcile commitments, invoices, and cost reports.
