Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Sr Project Controls Professional to support site-based assignments in Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, with future on-site projects across the U.S. The role emphasizes cost control and EVMS within a dedicated project controls team.

You will lead cost forecasting, budgets, change tracking, and contractor pay applications, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting to project managers and field teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in project controls with a strong focus on cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: Budget development and updates, scope change tracking, expenditure and forecast reporting.
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and advise corrective actions to project and construction managers.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications for contractual compliance.
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems.
