Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional for on-site assignments supporting projects in Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, with future on-site work across the United States. This senior role suits a detail-oriented professional with a strong cost-control and project-controls background.

You will lead cost and progress forecasting, manage budgets, track changes, and ensure accurate data in EVMS-based systems, coordinating with construction teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project controls teams, construction teams, and vendors.
• Willingness and ability to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements, including Budget development and updates, Scope change tracking, Expenditure and forecast reporting.
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions to project and construction managers.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
• Track and report on construction physical progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems.
