Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional for on-site roles in Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, with future U.S.-wide assignments. The role focuses on cost management, forecasting, EVM, and close collaboration with construction teams and vendors.

The candidate will lead cost-control activities, manage budgets and change tracking, review pay applications, and ensure accurate data in EVMS and project systems. Travel is required as part of on-site assignments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project controls experience with cost management and field operations.
• Strong knowledge of EVMS and cost reporting.
• Experience with contracts and pay applications.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements including budgets, scope changes, and forecasts.
• Maintain data in cost control systems and tools accurately.
• Analyze cost performance and advise project managers on corrective actions.
• Review contractor pay applications for contract compliance.
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate weekly progress data submissions from contractors.
