Zusammenfassung

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Specialist to join the Engineering Services team supporting Ground System Development and Test Capabilities. You’ll own scheduling, IMS maintenance, and cost forecasting across multiple capital projects, coordinating with operations, facilities, and suppliers to keep programs on track.

You will drive schedule integrity, perform risk analyses, and provide data-driven insights to leadership.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in program scheduling/planning and controls in an industrial or technical environment.
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining resource-loaded integrated master schedules using Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project, Project Server, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of scheduling best practices, including critical path methodology.
• Experience establishing new programs or performing replans of existing programs.
• Experience managing ERP/MRP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management.
• Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across multiple teams and management levels.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to work full-time; occasional travel, overtime, or on-call may be required.
• Must successfully pass a security background check to work on federal reservations.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project controls systems and integrated master schedules for capital projects.
• Lead schedule integration between internal teams, suppliers, and contractors using Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Perform critical path analysis, risk assessments, and identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Lead schedule recovery efforts and provide what-if analyses to management.
• Develop earned value metrics and forecasting of cost and schedule trends.
• Coordinate resources with Operations to determine workforce needs and schedules.
• Collaborate across departments and contractors to ensure project execution.
• Prepare and present status reports for executive management with visual metrics.
• Analyze variances and support change management with impact analyses.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
