Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida is seeking a senior project leader for ground system development at the Florida Orbital Launch Site and manufacturing facilities.

You will drive the full lifecycle from capability definition through design, build, and activation, coordinating mechanical, DSCE, software, CAD drafting, Facilities, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to deliver infrastructure that enables our engine, vehicle, and test programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related STEM engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex cross-organizational engineering capital projects.
• Experience as Budget Owner with delegated cost approval authority on capital or engineering projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to liaise with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, technical performance, and change control across the full ground system lifecycle.
• Serve as Budget Owner; develop and maintain project budgets with Finance and Accounting.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, WBS, milestone schedules, and resource plans; minimize bottlenecks.
