Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground system development projects at our Florida Orbital Launch Site and manufacturing facilities. You will drive scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating mechanical/fluids engineering, construction, DSCE, software, CAD, facilities, finance, and supply chain teams.

You will mentor junior team members, manage risks, and support checkpoint reviews (SRR/IDR/FDR/PAR) throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-organizational engineering capital projects.
• Experience as Budget Owner with delegated cost approval authority on capital or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, technical performance, and change control across the full ground system development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestone schedules, and resource plans.
• Act as primary project contact for internal business unit customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Construction Project Managers and engage Supply Chain and external vendors as required.
• Track and report project performance metrics and develop recovery plans.
